What you’ll be doing

• Based in our growing international content production hub in Cape Town, you will join forces with the wider creative team to help develop solutions for the challenging marketing and communication problems of our various clients

• Develop bold, innovative creative ideas for campaigns and digital&social experiences

• Collaborate with art directors, designers, and production teams of all our international offices to develop concepts and ideas

• Own a brand’s language and speak its tongue, able to produce assets across all channels, touchpoints and media with a focus on social content writing

• Present ideas clearly and persuasively to internal teams and clients

• Stay ahead of cultural, design, and digital trends to inspire fresh thinking

• Refine and evolve concepts based on feedback and project requirements

Your profile

• 3-5 years of agency experience as copywriter and a strong portfolio

• Strong command of English (spoken and in writing), additional language skills a plus

• A proven ability to use language as a razor-sharp creative tool to help brands connect to culture and audiences

• Expertise in developing brand narratives and big ideas that transcend channels while also being able to craft even the smallest assets and social media caption

• Confident use of common AI tools for research, mockups, including critical evaluation and optimization of results

• Passion for innovation, emerging media, and creative excellence

• Experience working with large, international brands and cross-functional teams

• Knowledge of the entire MS office suite as well as Keynote, ideally also understanding of content management systems and their requirements for structured content

• Structured, self-directed way of working with a high sense of ownership
