OBSESSED WITH BASKETBALL?
Just in time for the start of the 2022 European Basketball Championship, the latest issue of Sports Illustrated Deutschland was all about basketball. In keeping with this, we created a campaign that brought the feelings of basketball fans to the fore.
We created three advertisements to capture different feelings: first, a video called “Swoosh”, that picked up on the ASMR phenomenon: the so-called unique sound you get when the ball scores a hit without touching the ring.
Then, the analog yet 100% interactive print ad “Paper ball”, involving the readership and inviting them to become active themselves and have a first-person basketball experience.
Last but not least, “Goosebumps”, an OOH execution that created an analogy between the unique texture of a basketball, reminiscent of goosebumps, and the emotions that this sport can trigger.
